This oldest German university at the Dr.Karl - Lueger - Ring was founded 1365 by duke Rudolf IV. Constructed 1873-1883 by Heinrich von Ferstel in the Renaissance-styile. In the large court there is the Kastaliabrunnen by E.Hellmer, 1910. The building complex contains also 8 small courts.
